of their Lordships referred to were as
follows:
that the existing Proclamations
regulating the Currency of
Hong Kong should be repealed
by
Her

and a new Order in Council
and Proclamation issued, declaring the Silver Dollar of certain
weight and fineness to be the
sole current coin and legal tender,
and directing the public accounts of the Colony to be kept in Dollars and cent,
and obligations at present
expressed in British
currency
to be discharged in Dollars
at the rate of 1 Dollar
